Business Operations Manager Francisca Soto
In this article, we want to introduce Francisca Soto, our Business Operations Manager. When Francisca joined our agency in February 2021, we asked her a few questions to get to know her a little better.

Francisca lives in Santiago, Chile.
How would you describe yourself?
I am a friendly, positive, and happy person. I like to make new friends and have fun with my family during my free time. It is really important for me to get together with them regularly, going to concerts and having fun with outdoor activities. I love animals, music and travel. I like to support people, especially in multicultural environments, which is why I am so thrilled about Syde. Working remotely in a diverse and multicultural team lets me use all my skills and experiences from studying abroad and the tourism industry!
Francisca’s way to Syde
I went to university in Valparaiso in the main port of Chile, which is located in the center of Chile, and studied business administration. I had the opportunity to finish university at the College of Staten Island in New York. I had a wonderful experience, came back to Chile and started my professional career.
In the last four years I worked in the tourism industry and well – today I am part of the Syde family. I am very happy and excited to have this great opportunity where I just want to learn, make new friends, and give my 100% to this team and company.
Now, working at Syde and for the first time completely remote – even for me, as I have experience in working remotely yet – this is a very new and exciting environment. I love languages, supporting people, and international experiences.
Also,Syde is doing a great job in connecting people through offering fleece or donut meetings or keeping everyone informed through the overall meetings. And I am looking forward to the next real-life team meeting as soon as the situation allows it!
I like the people, the international environment and especially being part of the Business Operations Team. I am looking forward to learning a lot more, expanding my professional knowledge, and taking my Human Resources career to the next level.
