Project Manager Gabriel Miranda

I really enjoy working with our diverse team made up of super-talented people from all over the globe. I am excited to have the opportunity to work with WordPress pioneers & experts and want to soak up as much knowledge as possible.

In this article, we want to introduce Gabriel Miranda, our Project Manager. When Gabriel joined our agency as a Supporter in January 2022, we asked him a few questions to get to know him a little better.

This is Gabriel Miranda

Gabriel lives in Hermosillo/Sonora, Mexico.

Gabriel Miranda

How would you describe yourself?

I am from a small city called Hermosillo. It’s located in the northern part of Mexico, in the state of Sonora. We have a very hot climate,  which is easily in the top 10 hottest cities in the world.

I am a devoted husband and father above all else. I have been married for 21 years and like to spend my free time with my family.

Furthermore, I am super excited to begin a new chapter at Syde, meet everyone, and continue my wonderful journey with WordPress!

How do you spend your spare time?

I am a pretty mellow type of guy. I like to spend most of my free time doing things with my wife and kids. I enjoy cooking for them (Barbeque), taking them on hiking trips, or simply watching a movie together on our beloved sofa.

I recently started a small garden, which I really seem to enjoy. I have an Avocado, Pineapple, and a small pepper (Chiltepin) plant, all growing pretty well.

What is important to you?

Family is the most important thing for me. I love  taking care of them and providing them with the opportunities they need to develop themselves.

It is also important to be a positive example and  show that diligence, commitment, and loyalty pay off in the end. It wakes me up in the morning and motivates me to get better every day.

Gabriel’s way to Syde

I have over eight years experience in the Customer Care and Sales Industry. During my previous role with a U.S.-based Energy Retail company, I was exposed to tools used for data analysis, databases, RPAs, and other software integrations that helped us succeed as a sales campaign.

As a result, I became very interested in working more closely with these tools. I guess you can say the “tech bug bit me.” I knew I wanted to be involved as soon as I had the opportunity.

I got involved with WordPress thanks to a buddy of mine who needed help building a small business website. This is where I was introduced to WordPress, and I have been working with WP ever since. I now have two years of experience designing and building websites using the WordPress content management system.

My goal is to continue learning and growing alongside the WordPress community, and I hope to be involved in many more projects.

Syde is one of the industry leaders in WordPress with a client list that includes some very big names, which is very attractive for any WordPress enthusiast. Moreover, Syde’s core values, particularly regarding employee health and work/life balance, are top level. A TRULY great place to work!
