I enjoy the company’s amazing culture and I have seen room for growth since day one at Syde. I look forward to an exciting journey with great people from all over the world.

In this article, we want to introduce Nicole Titus, our Supporter. When Nicole joined our agency in May 2022, we asked her a few questions to get to know her a little better.

This is Nicole Titus

Nicole lives in Cape Town, South Africa.

How would you describe yourself?

I am a hard-working and driven individual who isn’t afraid to face a challenge. I am self-motivated and determined and always strive to accomplish my goals.

I’m passionate about traveling, teaching, and learning languages. Besides being fluent in English and Afrikaans, I also know some basic German. My greatest wish is to continue traveling the world.

Working as part of a team and learning new things motivates me. I think working in a team encourages personal growth and leads to better outcomes.

How do you spend your spare time?

In my spare time, I love spending time with friends and family. I, too, enjoy playing dominos and board games. I go on a shopping spree if I want to kill time.

What is important to you?

Health is something so many of us take for granted, but life-changing events make our health vulnerable. Good health is the foundation of everything we do.

I used to be really affected by my surroundings. Negative spaces forced me to work hard to avoid spiraling into a negative mindset. It’s true that life is not easy, and staying in comfort zones doesn’t help us to open the door to change. The more confident you become in the love you have for yourself, the more you realize that you have the strength to walk in a room full of tension and maintain your inner tranquility.

Relationships are our foundation. They contribute to the richness and fulfillment of our lives. It is vital that we prioritize the time we spend with friends, family, and loved ones.

Nicole’s way to Syde

In 2019, I graduated with a Bachelor of Technology in Marketing from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology in South Africa. After completing my degree, I landed a job as a service desk analyst. I gained extensive experience in the IT infrastructure field and enjoyed helping users resolve issues with computer technologies. In addition, I loved showing them how to utilize the systems and software that they needed.

Two months ago, I started looking into WordPress and found it really intriguing. I started building up my knowledge of WordPress whenever I had some free time.

After reading about the company, I then realized Syde would be an amazing opportunity and place to work. I love that this is a company with colleagues from over thirty different nationalities, religions, and ethnic groups. I believe diverse teams help me communicate and learn better.

I love that I can be flexible so that I am able to attend to personal matters or family obligations. I can unplug from work, recharge, and unwind.
