The Project
Password Protected B2B Portal with Data Synchronization for POLO Motorrad
Goal: Webshop and portal for B2B customers with password-protected login function and daily data synchronization
POLO Motorrad’s overall objective was to establish a new B2B business segment. In order to provide dealers with their own webshop, we decided to set up a corresponding B2B-portal. This needed to be accessible only to registered dealers and show the prices relevant to them. This functionality was particularly important, as the dealers were to be assigned to different discount categories depending on their annual turnover.
Furthermore, stocks and expected delivery dates needed to be updated daily. Special attention was also paid to the connection between motorcycles and the products offered for them. A special challenge was the abundance of over 30,000 items to be listed.
